Course Overview<\/span><\/h3>\n

A Teaching Assistant Apprentice forms a pivotal role in supporting a young person\u2019s development, working alongside the lead teacher to enhance pupils\u2019 learning, either in groups or individually, ensuring that pupils thrive in a positive, nurturing, safe environment.<\/p>\n

This apprenticeship provides transferable skills such as the ability to keep children safe, communication, planning, health and safety for children, the ability to monitor children\u2019s behaviour, and underpinning the delivery of the national curriculum.<\/p>\n

The aim of this qualification is to give the learners the knowledge, skills, and behaviours, to support the class teacher to enhance pupils\u2019 learning, ensure that pupils understand the work set, know their learning objectives and stay on task in order to make progress.       Learning & Assessment<\/span><\/h3>\n

      Each apprentice will have their own dedicated tutor who will conduct monthly remote tutorials and reviews, providing continuous support throughout the apprenticeship program. Depending on the apprentice’s needs, the frequency of these sessions may vary.<\/p>\n

      Additionally, each learner will be paired with a workplace mentor who will collaborate with the tutor and learner, offering expertise and guidance to facilitate skill development.<\/p>\n

      The mentor will provide support, constructive feedback, and assist in various tasks the learner will undertake, such as:<\/p>\n

        End Point Assessment<\/span><\/h3>\n

        Each Apprentice must undergo an independent end-point assessment to determine the outcome of their apprenticeship. The assessments will assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours gained during their programme. The methods in which this apprenticeship is assessed are:<\/p>\n

          Hire an Apprentice<\/h3>\n

          We can work with you to source a suitable applicant for your organisation or you can up-skill your existing employees. If the employee is under 19 and your business has fewer than 50 employees, there will be no cost for the training. If they are over 19 and\/or your business has over 50 employees then you will contribute 5% towards the cost of the training.
